The Iota Chapter prides itself on being an ally in the diverse San Diego Community. One of our Sorority's goals is to stay connected and engaged with our communities. This typically includes helping community centered USD sponsored programs, such as Pancake Peeps. We have volunteered with Pancake Peeps and helped our fellow USD students in feeding the homeless populace in Downtown San Diego. We have also previously volunteered for the Linda Vista parade where we helped facilitate the parade for our neighboring community. With COVID-19 interrupting the 2020 fall school year, we are still attempting to remain active in our community by helping fundraise for the San Diego chapter NAACP and BIPOC scholarships associated with the organization. Our Iota Chapter is continuously looking for ways to give back to the community around us, even remotely.
