At USD’s Iota Chapter, we offer a fairly informal recruitment process that consists of fun events, socials, and other informational events that help one get a true sense of what it means to be apart of a diverse Sisterhood. Recruitment events typically occur during a single week where we invite all individuals to come and hear about our sorority and bond with the current active Sisters. At the end of the week, individuals who would like to go through the process of becoming a potential sister will fill out our application and participate in a brief interview. Upon receiving a bid, potential new members will then go through an educational process to become a sister of Sigma Theta Psi. Overall, recruitment is one of our favorite times of the year as we get the opportunity to welcome new individuals into our Multicultural Sorority. We are delighted to be able to offer young women the opportunity to join a diverse community and Sisterhood as unique as ours here at Sigma Theta Psi.
